"pursuing your wife"

Hey Ed,

Thanks for keeping me in the loop with this. I'm afraid I have some bad news for you... my wife filed for divorce just a few weeks ago. Needless to say it was a complete shock for me, our family, and our friends. I tried for some time to fight for our marriage but she wouldn't have it so that is where we are headed. I'm hanging in there, I've got some great support from friends at Church and family. My faith has been tested beyond what I could imagine but actually feel stronger today than I did a few weeks ago.

Just wanted you to know man... consider you a friend and would love some prayers. Also, I'm spreading this message to every married man I know (including you). Feel free to pass it on:

Wake up EVERY DAY loving the Lord and pursuing your wife. Date her, chase her, never get complacent or comfortable with your marriage. The day you wake up patting yourself on your back on what a great job you're doing pursuing her is the day that Satan will try to get a foothold. The day that you wake up and think "it could never happen to me" is the day that it WILL happen. Write it down... take a picture... do whatever you have to do to remember this each and every day... you'll never regret it.
